Sadly missed the family themselves - and lots of other people, but here is what I have!

Spotted today in rural Perthshire!

I have got the car back now, and with it was a lovely surprise from my mother-in-law!

This is vintage lace, crochet cotton and silk she has had for 30 years she says! I feel some lavender bags coming on… I also want to try Nigella’s recipe for lavender  cupcakes tomorrow.

I am not good to my shoes. Scuff kick scrape! (x1000) The silver on these wore off about six months after I bought them so I patched it with some silver glass outliner.

More scuffing kicking and scraping later, I was going to emboss them, but then I saw some shoe collaged with stamps in ‘Craft’ magazine by Yasmin Bochi. So its Saturday morning, and I should be cleaning the bathroom, but no, its time to get the PVA glue, some old books and some stamps!

They’re not quite done yet - I need more stamps, so please pass me on any you have, particularly if they’re oldor foreign. I knew I should never have given away my stamp collection…

Like many of my fellow Moosers, I have joined Facebook, and have a lunch scheduled with another mum I haven’t seen for a while this week as a result! As I really find it hard to summon energy for more active tasks, surfing is my favourite form of procrastinating from housework, closely followed by crochet and going out for coffee.

Mira is now onto solids - the carrot went down better than rice - and has been swimming!

Insert dramatic music of choice. (My favourites would be the Imperial March or Ride of the Valkyries.)

The midwife slightly freaked me out by saying that today - so much to do, so little time! Bathroom conversion happening next Monday.

Here are some of the lovely gifts I got when leaving work - not the chocolates, as I’m afraid they’ve all gone already. Yes, I know - a box every two days is not part of a healthy balaned diet.

…who came last night, especially to Guy Incognito who played us some quality dance musak, Alan who organised the band, and our parents who helped so much with preparations on the day.

…to Ben’s 30th birthday party at the Whiteinch Centre, 7.30pm on Saturday 3rd of March. There may be dancing, if the ceilidh band actually works out! Guy Incognito has offered to contribute his skills too!
What to wear: anything except nothing!

What to bring: cash for the bar.
